Presidential hopefuls Hutchinson, Binkley, and Scott lay out plans at Governor Reynolds’ ‘fair-side chats’
DES MOINES, Iowa — A large crowd gathered for Governor Kim Reynolds ‘fair-side chats’ as Asa Hutchinson, Ryan Binkley and Tim Scott laid out their plans for president.
Asa Hutchinson is looking to gain more name recognition among Iowa voters.
The former Arkansas governor announced a new policy for immigration reform, a state-based visa program.
That if you in Iowa say you need to have healthcare workers or that you need to have agricultural workers that’s more permanent, you can say this is our priority we need to have a visa program that would bring that kind of talent or workforce here into Iowa,” Hutchinson said.
A pastor and business owner from Texas, Ryan Binkley, is focusing on the economy and says he’s hoping to spread the conservative message while working across the aisle.
